Matteo Binci is a curator, researcher and project manager.
His research focuses on the convergence of arts, politics and the processes that form political bodies and subjectivities. He loves collective practices and the study of ecosystem.
BIO
Matteo Binci (Jesi, Italy, 1993) is a curator, researcher and project manager. He has a background in visual cultures and curatorial practices, cultural heritage management and art history.
He is currently curatorial and editorial coordinator at MACRO - Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome.
In 2023, He developed the collective project Ecologia A/sociale commissioned by the Venice Biennale Foundation. He was curator of the public program Hacerse Mundo at the Italian Cultural Institute in Mexico City, 2022 and assistant curator at the Fondazione Quadriennale di Roma, meanwhile he collaborated on the Quadriennale d'arte 2020 FUORI exhibition. In 2022 and 2024, he won the Italian Council grant funded by the General Directorate for Italian Contemporary Creativity.

From 2014 to 2016 he was a member of the artistic and enviroment collective S.a.L.E. DOCKS in Venice.
